Banning all people of a particular religion, and pretending that it is about “danger”, is despicable and un-American.

We have a society that allows all people to worship freely, or not at all and discrimination against people for their beliefs is ridiculous. The act is so bigoted, that the Trump administration and their reporters would probably prevent any brown skinned person from the middle east from entry into the USA, not even recognizing that the god that they worship didn’t look like them either.

Please explain the blonde wig, Erich. I found this cartoon on another site some time ago, and have been pondering it ever since. A mystery!

      Hello,

The blond wig is a reference to the fact that people in the USA imagine Jesus to be light haired, blue-eyed caucasian looking man, when people from the region of that time period really looked nothing like that. Forensic anthropologists recently put together a model of what Jesus could have looked like given the evidence from graveyards at the time in which he was supposed to have lived. You can read more about that here.

The travel ban is so blatantly racist, the god of worshipers of one of the biggest middle eastern religions wouldn’t be allowed in the country, because he wouldn’t look like any of its supporters.

      Thank you for the question.
